Personal Reflection on Coraline

Skibidi vibes in Coraline, lowkey a masterpiece. The creepy aesthetic hits different, and the animations are dank, especially during the Other World scenes where everything is just a little off. I disliked the tension at times; it edges on anxiety, but that is what makes it engaging. Best scene? When Coraline confronts the Other Mother, pure sigma energy. My favorite character is Coraline herself, a goon who challenges her fears. I would not change much, but a deeper backstory for the Other Mother could have added more depth. Overall, a wild ride in a toilet of imagination.
